Rules of the Village
- Animals are unpredictable. Please do not touch or feed the livestock or any wild animals.
- The village roads are gravel, and the buildings do not have ramps.
- Strollers may be used on the village roads, but not in historic buildings.
- Smoking and alcohol are not permitted on the property (Alcohol is only allowed with a legal permit between the party and the County of Nassau).
- Old Bethpage is not a pet-friendly facility. Pets are not allowed on site, with service animals being the only exception.
- Please keep off any fences, walls, and trees. Stay on the paths to avoid ticks in tall grass.
- Wildflowers and crops are for all to enjoy; please do not pick.
- Costumes are not permitted for anyone over the age of 12.
- Realistic props are not permitted in the museum.
- Coolers are not allowed on the property.
School & Group Reservations
Old Bethpage Village Restoration has been educating people of all ages in all things 19th century for more than 50 years. A visit to the village has long been a rite of passage for generations of Long Island students. School and Group reservations must be made in advance. Group reservations must contain a minimum of 15 persons. For school and group reservations, and further information, availability, and rates, please call 516-572-8409
Senior Bus Tours
Special bus tours of the village are open to senior and handicapped groups by reservation only. When available, tours start at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 2:00 PM There is a $40.00 tour fee (paid in advance) and an admission fee of $10.00 per person (paid upon arrival). The Museum of American Armor
Opened on June 6, 2014, the Museum of American Armor showcases armored vehicles from the nation’s military and honors those veterans who once depended on them. Restoration Farm

Weddings, Permits & Rentals
The Nassau County Photo Archives Center
The Nassau County Photo Archives Center is a repository of historic photographs of Nassau County and Long Island from the 1870’s through the 1980’s. The collection includes over fourteen thousand photographs, glass plate, film negatives, and postcards. All images are available for viewing at the Center, located in the OBVR Visitor Center, at no charge. High quality printed copies can be provided for a nominal fee.
