For 50 years, Old Bethpage Village Restoration has been educating people of all ages in all things 19th century. Explore the history of an antebellum Long Island agricultural community with your class or organization while on a self-guided walking tours!

Visit our historic buildings, learn from our tradespeople and historic interpreters and experience the sights, sounds, and yes, even smells, of the 1800's.

Learn about agricultural skills of rural America.

At certain times of the year, students have the opportunity to try their hand at activities such as writing on slate boards, rolling wooden hoops on country roads, making string dolls, carding wool and other activities that illustrate 19th century life on Long Island.
School and Group reservations must be made in advance. Group reservations must contain a minimum of 15 persons.

Other ways to become a part of history!
In addition to our 19th century self-guided walking tours, we also offer other school programs including a collaborative effort between Old Bethpage Village Restoration and our neighbor, The Museum of American Armor.
